This piece is close to my heart. It represents the grief process I went through in 2025 from losing someone close to me. It is as if the person is still watching over me and that I am moving into a different stage of grief as the year anniversary of his passing creeped up and has now gone.
We all grieve our own way, and we all choose what we are able to do with it, grief is not a linear process for everyone. I have chosen to follow my dreams as he once believed that I could do anything if I worked hard for it as long as I keep working on myself and not lose myself in the growth process.
The black swan is the darkness I went through, and the white swan is the inner peace knowing I cannot exist without the other.
